The Photo Printer Rental Process
The rental process is simple but most of all flexible. It allows the customer to use the printer without needing to buy the media and has the flexibility of only needing the customer to pay for the media they have been using.
How the Rental Process Works
The rental process is simple but most of all flexible. It allows the customer to use the printer without needing to buy the media and has the flexibility of only needing the customer to pay for the media they have been using.
Courier Delivery
A pre-arranged courier will both deliver and collect the equipment from the billing and shipping address provided.
Payment
We take payment details up-front for the rental, including the deposit, hire fee and courier charges, but we only actually take payment on the day of dispatch. This gives you flexibility regarding changing any of your rental details, as well as the peace of mind that if you need to cancel (within 48 hours notice) the payment has not been taken in advance. It is important however for you to be available on the phone number you provided us in case of issues with the card payment. It is not possible to ship you printer without payment.
Your media costs are taken out of your deposit at the end of your rental and you are only charged (per print) for what you actually use. We will send you the maximum amount of media that you will require for your event and if there is any left over, simply return it along with your printer.
Upon the return of the printer to us, it is given a once-over and a print count is taken. Any returned, unused media is also checked and we then calculate how many prints you have used. Print prices vary by model and are given in the Rental Terms and Conditions below. All prices are ex-VAT.
The total media cost (number of prints x price per print) is then deducted from your deposit and the remainder of your deposit is returned to you.
Timing
Our rentals are for a minimum of 7 days but they can be extended to meet your requirements.
In order to ensure that all runs as smoothly as possible, we recommend that you have a printer for a few working days before your event. This way, you can ensure that it gets to you safely and that you have at least 2 working days in which to set it up and iron out any problems. You can also contact us during this time, in office hours, to ask any questions you may have about setting up and installing it.
We are flexible in that we can book rentals at any point, with up to 48 hours notice. We have been known to provide a rental printer for an event with less than 24 hours’ notice, although terms and conditions apply, including a £50 late booking surcharge.
What we require to rent a printer:
- A contact number
- Billing, delivery and collection address(the billing and delivery address must be the same if this is your first order with System Insight)
- Rental terms and conditions confirmation
- Size of print and amount of prints
- Rental dates-Payment details (This will be required to book the rental but will not be processed until the date of dispatch unless instructed otherwise)
Leasing is another good way to spread the cost – the equipment can pay for itself whilst being used and you even have the option of owning it at the end of the lease. And, if you’re starting up, you might also like to consider our popular Training Courses and really make the most of all the help that’s out there for you!
