HiTi P510 media has NOT been discontinued!

So, there is no need to waste money buying a new printer!

A little while ago, HiTi did decide to discontinue their 6″x9″ media (due to reduced demand) but, this is not the case for all media sizes. 6″x4″, 5″x7″ and 6″x8″ media are all still available and there are no plans to discontinue them in the foreseeable future. Print media is typically produced for at least 5 years after the associated printer model has been discontinued. 

In fact, the HiTi 600 series media has been available for 14 years and is STILL available!

NEW – Changes to HiTi P510 Print Media (6×4″, 5×7″ and 6×8″)

You may have noticed that HiTi have been making changes to the style of their print media. Gone are the days when HiTi P510 print media came as ink ribbon in a cartridge which you loaded into the printer. Now, the cartridge has been replaced by a reusable ribbon tray which you need to keep.
