Easily Customisable Templates

Darkroom Booth Software is easily customisable with its built-in visual editor and fully adjustable templates. Template options can include green screen backgrounds, overlays, watermarks, your website address etc, for maximum entertainment, choice and to ensure your branding correlates with the photos for ongoing marketing purposes. You can even add custom sounds!

These are simple to use and don’t require any special computer or technical skills. It is an easy-to-use point and click system so there’s no need to learn coding, co-ordinates or XML.

Many Print Options

Many different print options are possible with Darkroom Booth’s integrated Template Editor. Anything from a single Polaroid style 4×5″ print to a giant Jumbo Strip with multiple images, logos, words and graphics. Photos can be in colour, black and white, sepia or whatever you create!

Still Photos, Videos and Prints

You can offer your customers still photos (1-16 per session), video (if your DSLR supports video) or both. And, it’s compatible with Nikon and Canon SLR’s or even a webcam. It automatically detects your camera – you can use almost any camera and any printer. Darkroom Booth has built-in drivers for many popular printers, which means faster printing with no fuss.

Easy to Share

There are several sharing options. Guests can email themselves with the easy-to-use on-screen keyboard. They can also post images to social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. And, photos can be easily exported to CD or USB drives.

Facebook Integration

Darkroom Booth Software provides seamless integration with Facebook so you can post directly and easily to a Facebook event, page, album or timeline. You don’t even need to be online – photos are queued up and post when you’re back online. For quality control, you can also check uploads remotely, such as by using a mobile device.

MMS/SMS Integration

Photos can be texted straight to customer phones. Users can text photos from a photo booth in different formats including original images, photo strips or customised layouts. You can also text and print different types of photos. So, for example, you might want to text customers one, square photo whilst printing a photo strip for them.

Phidget Support

This means you can connect up with external devices which turn on or off and link them in with your photo booth. For example, lights, fans or even a vending machine can be linked in and turned on, in line with whatever photo booth experience you want to create. And again, this is a point and click system so it’s easy for non-technical people to use.

Quiz and Survey Feature

This has a wide range of applications for marketing, data gathering, entertainment purposes, from marketing surveys and competitions prior to photo capture at Trade Shows, to fun, interactive quizzes or competitions at weddings.

Animated GIFs

Truly unique photo products can be created using animated backgrounds and foregrounds (photo overlays). Animated backgrounds can also be combined with green screen backgrounds. One file can include multiple photos and they can be sent to customers by text or email. Darkroom Booth provides templates so it’s easy to do and no photoshopping or editing is required.

Slideshows

Slideshows are easy to add and customize. Your slideshow can run in your photo booth in attract mode, on external monitors, projectors or even remotely over a network. You can show individual booth photos, printed strips or create a new template for a totally customized show! Mix in other images or download from social media. Darkroom Booth Software can monitor and download images from Instagram hashtags, Facebook, email, MMS (text) or Dropbox.

Dropbox Integration

Images can be posted instantly to Dropbox. From there, they can be shared with customers, other applications or social media.

Customers can re-take individual photos and control when they take their photo.
