What are the differences between the two systems?
Mitsubishi now offer the IT5000 and Click Lite Touch Screen systems and it important to realise the differences between them.
The IT5000 originally was designed as a server for a small mini lab system which can support 8 printers, connection to a external lab etc. It soon became the standard for serious event photographers due to the excellent software and the fact that anyone could operate it with ten minutes tuition.
The IT5000 and Click Lite both run the same version, although the Click Lite will only run software versions 1.00 - 1.21 due to the reduced hardware specification of the machine. The IT5000 on the other hand will run the newer version 2.12 and above. Wireless functionality is the same and both will support this, it is in fact pre-configured on the "pro versions" of these systems.
In order to keep the cost of the Click Lite system down, the hardware specification has been reduced to a celeron processor with 256mb of Ram. This is still sufficient to run versions 1.00 - 1.21 of the click software but not a high enough spec to run the later 2.00 and above versions. The click Lite also supports fewer USB ports which will limit the ability to run additional printers, external screens and external hard drives for backup.

We have "customised"
both the Click Lite and IT5000 systems to allow for increased functionality and workflow, this has resulted in our "Pro version".
Customers may upgrade to the PRO SYSTEM later, but it would mean returning their System Unit and would attract a higher charge than if the Customer had purchased the PRO SYSTEM in the first place. Some elements of the PRO VERSION are available separately at an additional cost for people who have already purchased the Standard Version.

We are constantly working on updates to the IT5000 and Click Lite to ensure our customers get the best performance from their system and we are due to launch a few new updates soon.
PRO SYSTEM users will benefit from a FREE or lower cost upgrade on these updates.
Carousel Utility - FREE of Charge to PRO USERS
We are working on a proprietary replacement for this utility. We find the IT5000 version has a few issues which can cause certain problems. Our new version will allow you the following advantages:
- Ability to refresh the image list when the end of a directory has been reached.
(This is ideal for constantly changing directories).
- Ability to "Brand" the slide show with your logo or image.
- Provide an option to show one or many "adverts" in the slide show every "x" number of images from a selection of images.
(This is useful to advertise your other photographic products that you sell).
- Show actual image filename or number.
Import Utility - FREE of Charge to PRO USERS
When images are imported into the IT5000, they lose their filenames and are renamed as DPS_ClickXXXX.jpg. Our utility will retain the original filenames and allows you the following advantages:
- Original Images retain their filenames, no more duplicate filenames!
- Copy RAW files to another directory automatically.
- Pre-Specify the Directory to copy the files into, thus negating the need to store the images in a temporary directory.
- Runs as a background task which allows viewing of the images as they come into the IT5000.
- Can automatically backup images to another drive / directory at the same time.
- Option to remove images from card once copied.
- Report Option.
